Client Issue
Wadham and Isherwood, a Guildford based commercial property agent, had been having repeated problems with their Virgin Media business broadband service. They were losing valuable man-hours and clients as a result of having to restart the router multiple times a day, severely reducing business productivity and causing an immense amount of frustration for staff.
The Solution
Sitec IT identified the problem quickly and recommended a new (tried and tested) provider – Spitfire Communications. Having worked with them for a number of years, Sitec IT knew Spitfire could deliver a robust and reliable broadband service.
The swap over was planned in advance to ensure that the new provider was installed and tested (for a week) before the agreement with Virgin was terminated to minimise any disruptions or downtime. The result was the switch over went smoothly and the new service was implemented without any issues
Services Provided
- Pre and post project planning and support
- Supplier liaison
- Onsite implementation services
By providing an end to end service, from diagnosing the issue through to liaison with the supplier and making sure the implementation went as expected, the client could relax and reassure their staff, knowing that Sitec were managing the whole process and the situation would be resolved quickly.
The Outcome
The job was well planned and done on time and on budget. The client was delighted and Sitec continue to act as liaison between Spitfire and Wadham and Isherwood.
“Sitec helped us secure a new Internet Service Provider in the form of Spitfire Communications and have subsequently solved our problem where we had to turn off and on our equipment to access the internet, so thank you Sitec for that” Nikki James, Office Manager
